For Essential Tremor Patients
The EEG + PAS wearable is designed for essential tremor — a closed loop system that continuously detects and responds to tremor activity in real time throughout the day.
A new kind of relief
The EEG + PAS wearable is a closed-loop system built around the way essential tremor actually works. Rather than managing tremors after they happen, the system detects the neural signature before the tremor peaks — and responds automatically.
Two lightweight wearable components, designed to be worn throughout your day. You do not think about the system. The system responds before you need to.

How it's worn
Each one has a specific role. Together, they work as one.
Component 01
The earpiece monitors your neural activity continuously, looking for the specific patterns that precede a tremor onset. When it finds one, it sends a wireless signal to the cuff — instantly. Earphone-sized. Lightweight.
Component 02
Worn on the upper arm, the cuff receives the signal from the earpiece and delivers targeted peripheral afferent stimulation — interrupting the tremor signal before it fully develops. Discreet under clothing.
The technology
The loop runs quietly in the background of your day. The earpiece reads your neural patterns continuously. When it identifies the signature of an oncoming tremor, it signals the cuff wirelessly. The cuff delivers targeted stimulation to interrupt the tremor before it peaks. The system resets instantly, remaining ready for the next tremor event in real time.
In your life
The EEG + PAS wearable was designed to fit naturally into everyday life — from meals and meetings to walks, writing, and everything in between. The earpiece is worn like a standard hearing aid, while the cuff fits comfortably under your sleeve. The system runs quietly in the background, without requiring your attention.
Common questions
The EEG + PAS wearable is designed for both essential tremor and Parkinson's disease. While essential tremor and Parkinsonian tremor have distinct neural signatures, the same closed-loop system — detecting and responding to tremor patterns — serves both populations. The system is not, however, the same as the Stabilis NMES therapeutic suit, which is designed exclusively for Parkinson's disease.
A gentle, purposeful pulse from the cuff when a tremor signature is detected. Most users describe it as noticeable but comfortable — something easy to adjust to within the first few hours of wear.
Yes — that's exactly what it's designed for. The earpiece and cuff are intended to be worn continuously during normal daily activities, including work, meals, social situations, and light physical activity.
We always recommend discussing any new therapy with your neurologist. The wearable is designed to complement, not replace, existing treatment plans. You do not need to change any medication to participate.
A TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) unit delivers constant, scheduled stimulation. The EEG + PAS wearable operates as a closed loop — it only responds when the EEG earpiece detects a tremor signature. The stimulation is targeted, triggered by your own neural activity, and precisely timed. It does not run continuously.
The EEG + PAS wearable is currently in active development, advancing in strategic alignment with a leading academic medical center and undergoing feasibility validation with our R&D partner, Simbex.
